Aquila Financial, formed in 2002, provides strategic financial and trade communications advice to the upstream oil and gas industry.

Aquila is owned and managed by Peter Reilly, who has been intimately involved in the oil industry for more than twenty years. Before founding Aquila in 2002 he worked within the upstream divisions of BP and BG, and UK independent exploration and production company, Enterprise Oil plc. In 1999 he was appointed Head of Investor Relations at Enterprise Oil and remained in the role until the takeover by Shell in 2002.
